With Tolt, you can set up a custom domain for your affiliate portal, like affiliates.domain.com instead of using a subdomain.

To do this, you'll need access to your DNS provider (e.g., Cloudflare) or domain registrar (e.g., Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc.).

Steps to set up a custom domain:

  1. Create a CNAME record:
In your DNS settings, create a CNAME record for your desired domain that points to domains.tolt.io.

  2. Add the domain in Tolt:
Go to Program settings > Custom domains > Portal custom domain > Add portal custom domain.

  3. Verify your custom domain:

    • Step 1: Add DNS records:
Enter the following DNS records in your provider's settings:

      1. Type: CNAME

      2. Host: affiliates.toltapp.com

      3. Value: domains.tolt.io

  4. Step 2: Check verification
DNS changes may take up to 72 hours to propagate. Once complete, check the verification status in Tolt.

That's it! Your custom domain will be live once verified.
