Why suspend a customer?

Suspending a customer can be useful when you want to temporarily stop tracking and commission generation without permanently deleting them. This can be necessary if you notice suspicious activity, need to review their account, or want to pause their involvement in your program.

When a customer is suspended:

  • Future transactions will not be tracked.

  • No commissions will be generated for the partner associated with that customer.

How to suspend a customer

Method 1: From the customer profile

  1. Go to the Customers page in your Tolt dashboard.

  2. Open the profile of the customer you want to suspend.

  3. In the Customer information section, click the Update status button.

  4. Select Suspend from the dropdown menu and save changes.

Method 2: From the customers page

  1. Navigate to the Customers page in your Tolt dashboard.

  2. Find the customer you want to suspend.

  3. Click on the three dots in the same field to access options.

  4. Choose Update status and select Suspend from the options.

Once the customer is suspended, their transactions will no longer be tracked, and no commissions will be generated for the associated partner. You can always change their status back to Active if needed.
