How to delete a customer

Learn how to remove a customer from your program.

Sometimes you may need to delete a customer to maintain clean and accurate records, especially if the customer is a duplicate, invalid, or no longer relevant. However, keep in mind that deleting a customer will permanently erase all associated data, so it’s important to consider whether simply changing the customer’s status (e.g., suspending) might be more suitable.

Steps to delete a customer

  1. Open your Tolt dashboard

  2. Navigate to the customers page

  3. Select the customer: Click on the customer’s email to open their profile.

  4. Delete customer permanently: On the customer’s profile page, press the "Delete ustomer permanently" button to permanently remove the customer and all associated data.

    Important Note:
    If you don’t want to permanently delete a customer, you can also update their status (e.g., suspend). This allows you to deactivate the customer without erasing their data, providing more flexibility in managing your customer base.
