In Tolt, groups help you organize partners, each with its own commission structure, signup link, and optional settings like custom URLs or privacy. A group can have many partners or just one, giving you full flexibility over how you manage and reward them.

Creating partner groups

When setting up your first program, you’ll automatically create your first group. This group acts as your default unless you set another one later.

You can create and manage groups by going to Program settings → Partner groups.

  • Basic plan: Up to 3 groups

  • Growth plan: Up to 5 groups

  • Pro plan: Unlimited groups

You can switch the default group at any time.

Custom commissions

Each group can have its own commission structure. You can configure this using Flows, where you define specific rates for the group based on products, duration, or anything else you want.

Unique URLs

Every group gets a unique signup URL. When a partner signs up through that link, they’re added directly to the group and will see the group’s description and settings in their portal.

Group-specific website URLs

Each group can have its own Website URL if you want partners to promote a different offer or landing page. You can also keep it the same across all groups, your choice.

This is helpful if you're running multiple campaigns or want certain partners to promote a unique destination.

Custom fields per group

You can set custom fields to show only for a specific group. This helps personalize the sign-up experience depending on the type of partner.
To configure this, go to Program settings → General settings → Custom fields and assign fields to a specific group.

Public vs private groups

Groups can be public (anyone can join) or private (manual approval required). You can mix and match, one group can be public, others private.

Why groups are useful

Groups help you personalize commissions and manage your partner base more effectively.

💡 Example: You can create a group for influencers and give them 30% commission, while the rest of your partners earn 20%.
Or create a private group with a custom landing page just for exclusive partners.

It's flexible, simple, and makes scaling easier.
